The beginning
Back in 1996-97 I started to listen to dance orientated music such as Faithless and Robert Miles and even some happy hardcore was involved. When I started high school a friend introduced me to the sample based tracking program Fast Tracker II. I started to produce mostly dance tracks together with my brother Robert. Some tracks were uploaded to the legendary tracker database traxinspace.com
On a school trip to Oslo, Norway, I bought my first real trance album (In Trance We Trust 002) and since then I have been listening to different kinds of trance. Since 2000 when I turned 18 I've been visiting clubs and festivals frequently. The classic, now closed, Club Gorgeous became my favourite place. Lots of fun nights and great DJ sets have I seen there. I've also visited big festivals such as Sensation and Global Gathering. My interest for producing music became bigger and bigger.
I changed software in 2001, from Mad Tracker II, to a sequencer and different VSTi plug-ins. I started to gain support from DJ such as Michael Splint, Niklas Harding and Giorgio Ponticelli. In 2003 I ended up on a 5th place on Jon O Bir's talented competition and I received an A State of Trance play (ASOT XXL 95) by Misja Helsloot. Autumn 2004 my remix of Algarve - Seashore got air played by Graham Gold (Kiss 100) and Dave Pearce (Radio 1). The remix also received a 5/5 star review in International DJ magazine. My track Lightfields has also receivedairplay by Paul Kershaw on the Galaxy Network.
The start of 2007 coulden't be better, remixed by Aly and Fila, released on I-tunes and lots of productions in the making (with colabs with some great scandinavian artist). It seems to become more and more coops rather than own productions these days. It's fun to have some other input on the tracks then only your own. In 2009 I got air play on Dave Pearce's show Dance Anthems on BBC 6 Music with my track Natural None, check out the rip here.
The silent period (2009-2011)
Just after I got the airplay, my music computer crashed and I focused on the personal stuff, moving around, traveling etc. etc.
Right here, right now
This year (2011) I have taken up the music loud and proud again. Invested some money in new studio gear, teamed up with a production friend and started to produce more and more intensely. You can find my links to the new music on this page. Happy listening!

The personal Erik
I was born 1982 in middle Sweden. Moved down to Skåne with my family in 1987. Besides the music I like to renovate/decorate my apartment, ride my motorcycle, cook food together with my friends and spend some time in the gym or on the track to stay in shape.

The beginning, middle and end
Music has been a huge interrest for me since 1994, when i first discovered electronic dance music, back then recognized as rave & happy hardcore. I listened to various styles until 1997, when my style started to lean in to actual trance, with a euro-flavour to it. I started listen to Carlos, Mike Koglin and Robert Miles and that was a start of my musical interrest, along with my brother, going to Oslo, Norway, and bringing home in trance we trust 002, mixed by DJ Stigma.
Producing came as a natural thing, since my musical interrest had peaked. started off with some sample-based software and learned how to but drums to bass, bass, to fill-ins, fillins to strings and strings to melody. things started to sound better around 1998, when i also published my first works. Changing gear around 2000, brought my productions one level up and i was soon wrestling with other, unsigned & upcoming acts!
It’s all about the power, the power to sacrifice things to reach your goals, the power of knowing what you want and setting up the next goal, the struggle to reach that goal is the most wonderful thing.
