Finally time for an update on our webpage. I have been way to quite over the last couple of months but now I'm back with an update.
I've been listening a lot to Dave Pearce Dance Anthems lately, that show always delivers those classic dance/trance tunes that I' started to listen to back in the days. On the show they have a thing called bedroom producer where producers send in there tracks and Dave selects one to play on the show. Actually I got featured this week with my latest trancer Natural None. It was really fun to be featured as the first international bedroom producer. You can download the radio rip (LQ) here. Christmas update!

It's that time of the year again, when the snow should be here but isen't and the Santa Clause should arrive but still never show up! Besides that it's also time for a new update on the homepage.
I always try to sum up the year in one or another way. This year I decided to make something special. My good old
friend Mr. Michael Splint mixed together some of the tracks from us into a 80 minutes mix (since neither me or Robert DJ). The mix contains some of our work during the last years (2005-2008) and goes under the name lidstroem-productions.se - The Collected Works Vol.1 Mixed By Michael Splint, quite a fancy name fore something to give
away as a X-mas gift. Anyhow I'll try to make something like this for every year that passes by. Track list:

Besides this mix I will also add to remixes I made of two classic tracks (one is included in the mix). Both of the tracks got some electro/house feeling to make them more up to date, I guess Oizo has that feeling from the beginning.

DJ Bobo - Let The Dream Come True (Mr.E 2008 Remix). This tracks fetures the vocals of the classic Let The Dream Come True. After listening a lot to the Frensh elector guys, I tried to do something that sounded like them.
Mr. Oizo - Flat Beat (Mr.E 2008 Remix). Same style for this one, some what harder in my opinion.
There are some new productions in the pipeline also. A new Terra Cotta single and remixes. Also I'll try to hook up with Mr. Owetz to make some new Lidstroem & Taste tracks.
I'm of to have 3 weeks vacation over the Christmas, I will be back with a update in Q1 2009. I which you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Time really goes fast these days, almost to fast if I may say so myself. It's been 3 months since the last update. I'll have produced a couple of tracks since then. Got a bit hooked up on the electro/house style and this resulted in two remixes on old classics. Maby I'll upload them here in a couple of months.
The other tracks are two standard Lidstroem trance ones. One is yet another coop with my long time internet friend Mr. Owetz. The track became a epic melodic trancer which you can download here. The other one is a remix of a original from me which turned out to become a coop between Joakim Daif, Kalflut and Terra Cotta. The track was meant to be released on Daif Recordings but this won't happen so I'll release It for free. Download them here.

Summer update and vacation!

Yes! Finally have the summer arrived with great impact. Summer in my eyes means MC-driving, vacation for four weeks and not so much music composing.
This year I've already spent two weeks in the French Rivera together with my girlfriend. A vacation consisting of a fine mixture between relaxation and action. The weather was assome and I got to do much chilling and
Rosé drinking. I even had time to visit one of Montpilliars biggest festivals, Electomind (www.electromind.fr).
It was a massive party with 10000+ people on the closing evening with artist such as Digitalism, David Guetta and
John Dahlbäck. I want to give a big shout out to the nice guy who helped us to find the place! Cheers mate! Some pictures and videos below:
Now I'm of to visit a friend of mine in Mariestad.

This months track is a remake/remix of Robert's Recitation single. I still love the pads in this one and I decided to try to make a remix of it with some updated sound. The result can be found here or under the media section. The original was never released but a remix by Misja Hellsloot was released back in 2003/2004. It's just a mix made for fun nothing to serious.
Other projects that are in the making is a remix of a classic tune and a coop with my internet mate Erik Owetz. Keep
your eyes on this site for further information.

It have been quite some time since we updated the site. But there are stil actions ongoing in our "studios". A free track is now avalible to download. The track is called Eric Lidstroem - Luminescent Evening (Original). It is a mellow trancer made for the summer. You can download it here: here. The track is a full 256 kbps track.
A new version of Roberts track Recitaion is also finnished. We'll see if it's for free or if it will be signed, time will tell.

Sturmkraft - Revolution 2008

The track is a revamped version of my old Revolution track made in 2002, you can probably hear the nostalgic influencec in it. The release includes a remix from Cellec. I think it's a track that some people won't like because of the "outdated" sound, but this is the trance I like so much. No-noncens all in trance! Quote from About Dance:

Erik Lidstroem a.k.a. Sturmkraft reworked especially for About-Dance Recordings his one of his most successful tracks resulting in a tune called "Revolution 2008". The original version of this track dates back from the mid-2000s and was a great underground download hit. This tune is a homage to 140 BPM no-nonsense trance. Play this at the peak of your DJ-set to get the crowd in a real trance!
The remix is done by Cellec a Dutch talented label owner and well-respected radio host. We were honored when he told he us he'd produce a remix exclusively for this release. The full name of his remix couldn't describe better what this version of Revolution 2008 is all about. It has a great drive, contains a lot of original elements: it's Straight On. Grooving at 133 beats per minute this is something for all the DJ's who dig that ever so popular progressive sound.
There you have it. Two great tracks in two totally different styles. It's time for a Revolution: have a great 2008!

Finally I had some time to redesign the homepage and update it a bit. Was some problems with the old one, but I think this one should work without any problems.
What have happened over the last six months? We've had some more releases on Daif. My track Sturmkraft - Revolution will se a release on the About Dance label next year, including some remixes by up and coming producers.
Time fly's by when you have fun. I looked at the footer of the page and noticed that it's ten years since I/we started to produce EDM-tracks. What have happened under these years then? I will try to summaries it short and brief. There have been lot's of up's and downs of course, but still I'm so in love with the genre and the producing. I can't stop listening to all those talented artist that are out there in the scene. It's so fun to see the evolution of EDM going from pure Trance/underground to some mixup where every EDM genre is involved.
Actually I have most of the tracks that I've produced on my HD (even the FTII ones). I thought it would be a nice thing to share a track from each year I've produced (have there been any development of our producing skills?!)
Started out back in -98 witch was introduced by an old friend of mine. Tried to learn the basic's of producing for 2 years. First small hit was on the Traxinspace page with a track called DJ Zephyr - Trip Away (Original Cut), made together with (mostly by) Robert. This track received some 10 out of 10 reviews back in the days.
Next step was more of a "hit" period for Robert. He produced some tracks together with a friend (Joakim Persson). They produced under the guise Dual Force (pretty similar to Dutch Force, huh?!). They actually had a live performance at Medborgarhuset in Eslöv, Skåne?! The Italian DJ Giorgio Ponticelli liked the track Mindwalker so much that he decided to do a remix of it. And DAMN what a remix he did, sounded so pro then! I still think it has so much energy and flow, simply loving it!
In 2002/2003 Robert got his first vinyl release, Robert Lidstroem - My Spirit/Recitation (mixes by Blue Amazon and Misja Helsloot). The Misja Helsloot remix got played 9 times at Armins show ASOT. I think it was the first tune from a Swedish producer that got the tune of the week status. A quite extraordinary feeling when you where an FL-youngster.
Under this time I (Erik) had moved on to produce fulltime with FL. I started to gain some support from Giorgio Ponticelli, and ended up at a 5th place in Jon O Bir's talented compo. In ASOT 95 XXL the Robert Lidstroem remix of Sturmkraft Revolution got played, first and so far the only ASOT play for me.
The first vinyl release was the remix of Algarve - Seashore and later my track Lightfields got a vinyl release. So far there have been 4 or 5 vinyl releases for me (wow?!?!). Seashore got support on BBC Radio 1 by Dave Pearce.
It have been a fun period of time these years. I will still try to produce some tracks once in a while, but the amount f time to do it is minimized now. It have also been quite some experimenting and errors through the years. It's always a very good feeling to receive nice feedback and reviews (actually we've got some M8 and DJ Magazine reviews). But everything haven't been only sunshine, labels have promised me releases which haven't happened and so on. The thing that makes me most mad/sad is that the Aly and Fila remix of Enthralment never will be released. It's a pity for such a good remix.
Hanging around friends as Michael Splint and Mr.Schossow have giving me the opportunity to met most of the top notch DJ's and producers during the years. It's a cool feeling to speak with Armin and Ferry. There has also been a lot of partying with Mr. Schossow and Harding. Beer and music all the way, such great memories!

Was time to do a little redesign on the homepage since we have a new year and all. Updated the design a bit. It
probably looks best in IE 6 and with a resolution of 1024x768. I know that it can look weird in some other browsers.
Will try to get it right when I have some time over.
Producing wise my tune Lidstroem - Magic flute (Vocal Reconstruction) is avalible on I-tunes for digital download on
the compilation 50 Trance-Techno Anthems. It's selling quite good so be sure to grab your dl today. Some new stuff is

Yes we are still alive and kicking. Lot's of stuff happening right now. Got my motorcycle drivinglicens a couple of
weeks ago! Was fun, next step is to buy a bike so I can have some use of all the drivinglessons. Will start on a new
job in the end of November. Besides of all this theres a need of producing. Have made a revamped version of the
Sturmkraft - Revolution track (some minor changes left). Working on another track (50% done) and I will share a old
track with you.
The track is called Sturmkraft - Frequenzesteuer and is a sort of trance track with some electonica influences. Hope you enjoy.

Yes! Yet another update on the homepage. It seems like we can't really agree on how it should look. But let's hope
that this page is good enough for everyone! Added a video for Robert's recitation track it can be found
here or under the media section. The video is shot on the Tranceantlatic party @ Docklands
STHLM. Was a party arranged by former Rotor now known as
Aceevent.
Music vise we are still prodicing, but not as much as we once did. Robert has a new track in the making. And I (Eric) has made a chill mix for a track that should be released on
Inspired Records. Let's se how that comes out. A coop I made with talented
Stefan Jönsson is sent out to labels.

Been listening to more and more house latley and that stuff inspires me so much now! Thank god for the Swedish house
maffia (Axwell, Angello, Ingrosso and Prydz), these guys now how to produce! Also I'm (Eric) more and more into the
deeper style of trance. Son Kite and Ticon are really talented Swedish trance acts that you must se live. Ticon is
playing in Malmö 5th of june. No one should miss this.

Have been quite productive latley. Got two new productions finished and one remix. The first track is a new version of my track Enthralment. The other one is a coop with the excelent producer Stefan Jönsson. We made one orignal and Stefan remixed the track under his Section 9 alias. We'll see what can happen with that track!

Yes another update on the homepage! The other design diden't feel so fresh so I decided to make a new atempt to creat something more summer orientated. Hope you like it! I'm not sure that the homepage works 100% in all browsers and
resolutions, but I sure hope so!
We also have a guestbook now (many thanks to Emil for the php-programming), please leave a message there!
The music is going up and down I guess. Work is taking more and more time and we have realized that we are no longer
16 year old with all the time in the world to produce. Any how it seems like the Robert Lidstroem mix of Barbed Wire - Ruffed Up will see a release. One of my (Eric) bootlegs recived support from 4 Strings, thx for that mr Resoort. Download his set

Lots of productions finished!

Have been quite productive latley. Got two new productions finished and one remix. The first track is a new version of my track Enthralment. The other one is a coop with the excelent producer Stefan Jönsson. We made one orignal and Stefan remixed the track under his Section 9 alias. We'll see what can happen with that track!

contest!
The guestbook is coming along firmley to! A good friend (with more php knowledge then me) is doing a great job with
it!
I also recorded some stuff with a friend of mine this weekend. Expect some lounge/housy stuff from that
session!
This month I will bring you one of my older tracks. It's called Eric Lidstroem - Clear Ocean and can be found

under the media section. It's a melodic trancer meant to be a follow up to my track Lightfields.

Going to Holland and Trance Energy this weekend, so I hope

lidstroem-productions.se webpage! Another year has past by and we can now call us senior producers, if there is a term like that. We both started to produce back in -98 so it hase gone quite some time since the first struggeling steps.
We still working hard on new productions and remixes. I (Erik) have some new stuff in the pipeline together with the
talented producer Erik Owetz. The guy has massive ideas for harmonies but needs some help with the final productions,
thats where I come in! I have also made some contacts with a legendary german producer, and hopfully we can make some
nice tunes together! Last but not least another coop with Stefan Jönsson is in the pipeline! This guy is the
best on giving some massive feeling to the tracks!

Some more news on what we're up to: Eric is currently working on a successor to the powerful "Frequenzsteur", using his Sturmkraft-guise! Rumor says its going to be even heavier! He is also just finished the fourth track together with Erik Owetz! Meanwhile I (Robert) is working on a couple of remixes (one including music from a wellknown movie!), alongside work on a hopefully new single! Keep your eyes here for the updates!

"This Clacton based label set out to release music from unsigned artists and they are on a roll. Already
kicking up a storm is the excellent Seashore from Algarve (amongst others) with its Sturmkraft remix which is
one of the monikers used by Eric Lidstorm. His own release has the hats & ride high in the mix tech style with a
nice earie horn pad giving way to a deep rolling bass line. Beautiful strings and pads abound all the way to the
carefully constructed drop. Stand by for big chord progressions and a really nagging and memorable lead line. Top stuff."

Remixing- and producing times!

I've been busy doing some new tracks the last weeks! The first one is a coop
with a guy called Erik Owetz, who is a really talented harmony producer with
some epic and nice influences. The only problem is that he never really finishes
his track so I made this one ready for him.
The other track is a remix of Jay-Z and Linkin Park - Number Encore.
My remix is just made for fun nothing to serious. I tried to get some house
influences into it but it got almost to dance orientated, but hey that's life! The track is available
here!
The homepage is still temporary some big changes will be done in the nearest future so stay tuned!
A new year and new challenges!

Welcome to our new site everybody! Here is
the first version of brothers Erik & Robert Lidstrms co-site! Much
time has gone by, without a proper site beeing released and much has
happened with our "careers" :) While I (Robert) have been less productive
and been busy with moving in with my girlfriend, working and other stuff,
Erik has been very productive! Now beeing a part of upcoming UK-label
"Inspired Records", Erik has boosted his productions, both in quality as
well and in quantity!
Releases on "Inspired New Talent"-promos with
the nrg-influenced Sturmkraft-remix of Algarve - Seashore and
melodic epi-track Eric Lidstroem - Lightfields, both well recieved
by the scene and djs as Paul Kershaw (Galaxy), Graham Gold (Kiss100) and
Dave Pearce (Radio 1)! But more's cookin' for Erik! Challenging himself
with a broader sight in EDM, his been taking a turn into house and chill
lately! Finishing touches beeing made to his first house-ep as i write
this, with chill-music in the making aswell!
We both welcome you to
hopefully a great 2005! This site will be improved as we move along and we
will try to keep you as updated as possible with our music, parties,
events and travels!
